The Introduction of Japanese Strong Style

Since the beginning of the rise of Puroresu many Western wrestlers came to compete against their Japanese counterparts. A few brought the styles they learned in the East back home. A few Japanese stars made their way West and inspired even more westerners to travel to Japan. In the mid-nineties, a small group of young journeymen wrestlers began to make a name for themselves in the larger American promotions. Wrestlers such as Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero, and Chris Benoit began to incorporate bits and pieces of Japanese Strong Style into their work stateside in companies such as WCW and ECW. The Rock, and Wrestling need to Grow Up

Wrestling and Porn have a lot in common there. It took porn a long time to realize we don’t give a damn about the story and in fact you are just wasting space on my DVD that I just bought so cut it out. They had to lose billions to the internet before they finally got it and some out there still haven’t gotten that we could care less about why two people are fucking in that weird position so the camera can get a good angle, we just want to see them fuck like animals. With that said there are still a small fraction of people mostly women and children who want to see porn with plot lines and there are still a small fraction of people mostly women and children who want their wrestling with long drawn out stories that make no sense to anyone who saw Mark Callaway the actor who plays the Undertaker at ringside during UFC 121 and turn around the next day and get buried alive while wearing eyeliner. The End Of An Era

We didn’t know what a promo was or what a shoot interview was, we didn’t know about spots or beats or any of the wrestling terminology we all use so freely today, we didn’t even know what a heel or a baby face was. We just knew that there was this man you just love to hate and couldn’t help but envy just a little bit. I didn’t even matter that he wore pink feathered robes.Of course we fans had no clue as to what was going on back stage, this was before the lid was blown off and wrestler stayed in character in public.
